What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a globally recognized English proficiency exam designed for non-native speakers. Jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English, IELTS assesses your abilities in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
It offers two versions: Academic, for those pursuing higher education or professional registration, and General Training, for individuals aiming for migration, work experience, or secondary education in English-speaking countries. Accepted by over 11,000 organizations worldwide, including universities, employers, and immigration authorities, IELTS serves as a reliable measure of English language proficiency.
IELTS Academic
IELTS Academic is designed for those applying to universities, colleges, or professional organizations. It focuses on academic English and tests your ability to handle complex language used in education and formal settings.
IELTS General
IELTS General is intended for immigration, work, or training programs in English-speaking countries. It assesses everyday English skills, with tasks based on social and workplace situations.
